National Caramel Apple Day Recipes to Savor !

Happy Halloween everyone!  How fitting that today would also be National Caramel Apple Day.  I had planned to post something else today, but since I had a couple of Caramel Apple recipes from past posts I thought it would be the perfect time to re-share those again.

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved caramels, especially chocolate caramels.  In fact many of your may recall “Fudgies” a chocolate square caramel wrapped in gold foil made by Kraft.  These were  my all time favorite candy growing up in the 60s and 70s, then suddenly they disappeared!

Craving those for years I finally decided to create my own chocolate caramels …………………

In this recipe I used a special secret ingredient to replace corn syrup, you’ll want to be sure and check out.  This one ingredient will transform your caramel from great to sensational!!!

Once I had that recipe perfected I knew there was a Chocolate Caramel Apple that I just had to try.  I’m so glad I did.  If you’ve never tried a Chocolate Caramel Apple you don’t know what you’re missing.

Ooey gooey chocolate made into a caramel that’s wrapped around a luscious juicy apple, is heaven on a stick!  Don’t take my word for it, try my Gourmet Chocolate Caramel Apple recipe and see for yourself.  I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Of course National Caramel Apple Day wouldn’t truly be complete without actually sharing with you a creamy, buttery, gooey, caramel apple.  Bite into this apple and watch the caramel stretch its way from the apple right into your mouth for a succulent taste you’ll never forget!

Creamy, Buttery, Caramel Apples no matter how you bite into them, or slice them, coat them with nuts, candies, cookies, pretzels, or even sprinkles, they’re sure to be a hit for the caramel lovers in your family.

I hope you’ll try one of my recipes for Caramel Apples for National Caramel Apple Day!
