Orchard Sangria
I’ve never been much into drinking alcohol but I do have an occasional beer, glass of wine, prosecco, and only in the past few years fell in love with white sangria.
While having dinner one evening at California Pizza Kitchen I noticed on their menu they had a white sangria they called, “Orchard Sangria” so I decided to try it. OMG it was so delicious I could barely put it down to eat my dinner. Later that week I looked online for the CPK menu and the ingredient list for the sangria read:
ORCHARD SANGRIA
Of course, I got online and Googled the company, Monin and found lots of great recipes using their products. However, I didn’t see the Orchard Sangria recipe but found Monin’s Huckleberry Sangria and decided to try and sub out the ingredients for the ones used in the Orchard Sangria, eliminating apple juice, called for in the Huckleberry Sangria. To my surprise the recipe was spot on for the Orchard Sangria I had at California Pizza Kitchen.
If you’re not familiar with St. Germain Elderflower – the liqueur is made from the elderflower, a small white starry flower that blooms through the spring and summer. Produced in an artisanal manner, the liqueur is made from flowers gathered from the hillsides in the French Alps during a short 4-6 week period in the spring. The flowers are bicycled to a collection depot where they are immediately macerated to preserve the fresh flavors of the bloom then extracting the flavors of the flower and bottling it in their St. Germain Elderflower liqueur. Each bottle is then individually numbered with the year in which the flowers were picked. With the essence of pear and lychee adding this liqueur to your cocktails adds a special sweet and aromatic flavor you won’t want to miss.
I have a large bottle but I have seen St. Germain in small bottles. There are a variety of recipes to try with St Germain Elderflower you might enjoy besides the recipe below. Although a large bottle may seem a bit pricey you won’t be sorry purchasing one.
The other ingredients Simply Orange & Simply Cranberry can easily be found at your local grocer in both large and single serving sizes. I ended up using my fresh squeezed orange juice which worked out perfect. Change up this recipe using other fruit juices that you prefer, however, you might try this recipe first – it’s positively delicious and perfect for the upcoming Labor Day holiday!

It’s so good. I love it!
St. Germain is good stuff, isn’t it? Love sangria, and this looks so light and flavorful — perfect for the end of summer. Thanks!
It is perfect for the summer and then change up the fruit for the fall or winter. I love Sangria any time of the year. It’s light, fruity and delicious!
Printing this off!!! Like you, I only drink a glass of wine now and then, but sangria is a lovely option—especially in the summer. This recipe sounds perfect!!!
It’s wonderful and will be ideal for the Labor Day holiday. Although I’ll be making this year round and just change up the fruit. I hope you enjoy it if you make it.

What would the recipe be if you wanted to make a large pitcher of this for a party?
Hi Joye,
I would say just multiply the recipe for the number of people. However, It is possible with certain liqueurs that you may not need the same amounts. I did however make a huge pitcher one evening for friends by multiplying it and everyone loved it.
If you wanted to ask a bartender to be certain you can. Alcoholic tricks are not my specialty but have made this one in larger quantity and it was delish!
You can make it ahead of time and let the fresh fruit flavor the sangria even more. Hope this helps
